THE world’s sexiest athlete Alica Schmidt gave fans a behind-the-scenes look at the Paris 2024 closing ceremony.

The sprinter competed for Germany in the 4x400m mixed relay last week.

Germany did not make a final – which saw Britain win bronze, the US take silver and the Netherlands win gold.

But that did not stop Schmidt from making the most of her remaining time at the Paris games.

On the morning of the three-hour farewell fiesta, she posted a video of the Eiffel Tower from a boat tour on the Seine.

She then showed herself eating an ice cream with her fellow German athletes as they waited to attend the Olympic closing ceremony.

Next up saw the athletes on the purple track as they soaked up the atmosphere at the Stade De France.

Alongside her team-mates, Schmidt threw up peace signs as she posed for the cameras.

The team were then seen singing and dancing along to Freed From Desire as they celebrated their efforts at the Olympics.

The closing ceremony was then brought to a stunning end when Tom Cruise leapt from the stadium’s roof in a Mission Impossible style scene.

The Hollywood star then hopped onto a motorcycle to take the Olympic flag on a joyride out of the stadium.

A pre-recorded video then showed Tom riding past classic Parisian landmarks like the Eiffel Tower before arriving at an airport.

After boarding the aircraft, the Top Gun actor could be seen skydiving out of the plane and later landing in Los Angeles.

The iconic movie star then trekked the Olympic flag up to the famous Hollywood sign before he passing it on to a string of athletes… before ending up at a beachside concert by the Red Hot Chilli Peppers.

The move signifies the passing of the torch from Paris to LA in the next Olympic games.

The games will take place in LA in 2028.

Those games will see FIVE new sports introduced, with baseball, softball and cricket among the new sports to make an appearance.
