ANTHONY GORDON will be banned from the Carabao Cup final after lashing out at Brighton’s Jan Paul van Hecke.
The Newcastle star tussled with the Seagulls defender as the ball ran out of play during their FA Cup fifth round clash.

Van Hecke had a grasp of Gordon’s shirt before the red mist descended.
The winger lost his cool and angrily struck the Dutchman around the head.
He was red carded by referee Anthony Taylor and Gordon will now serve a three-match ban for violent conduct.
It means he will be suspended for the Carabao Cup final against Liverpool on March 16.
Gordon is also set to miss the Premier League games either side of the trip to Wembley against West Ham and Brentford.
Just eight minutes after the England star was sent for an early bath, Brighton went down to ten-men as Tariq Lamptey picked up a second booking.
