Anthony Joshua vows to avoid same ‘mistake’ Tyson Fury made in last fight as he weighs ONE STONE more than Otto Wallin

ANTHONY JOSHUA will use Tyson Fury’s horror show against Francis Ngannou as inspiration to keep his eyes on the prize.

Fury had to scrap a December 23 undisputed title decider with Oleksandr Usyk having been floored by Ngannou in October.

He escaped with a controversial points win but the historic first ever four-belt heavyweight unification has been postponed till February 17.

In his absence, AJ and Deontay Wilder co-headline back in Saudi Arabia in separate bouts as they build towards a March 9 bout next year.

Wilder returns after two years out against Joseph Parker and Joshua tops the bill with Otto Wallin.

Joshua hit the scales at 251lbs, nearly a stone heavier than Wallin’s 238.6lbs.

And AJ was reminded of how Fury might have overlooked Ngannou with the Usyk bout looming.

But he replied: “Let me not make that same mistake.”
