NEWCASTLE are braced for Arsenal and Tottenham to launch £100million moves for Alexander Isak.

But Toon boss Eddie Howe warned the London clubs that their star striker is not for sale.

Isak has been on fire for Newcastle this season

Isak, 23, made it 14 Premier League goals in 21 games this season with two penalties in Saturday’s 4-3 win over West Ham.

He has quickly become a fans’ favourite with his direct running and eye for goal since Toon paid Real Socieded a club-record £60m in 2022.

But fears remain that Newcastle may have to cash in to navigate FFP rules, especially if they finish outside of the European places.

And huge offers from Champions League clubs will be hard to ignore.

During the international break, Isak admitted that “if things show up, things can happen”.

But Howe insists he is off limits, saying: “He’s an outstanding talent and no one connected with Newcastle would want to lose him.”

It’s been a stop-start season for Isak because of injury but he is looking back to his deadly best following four goals in his last four games.

Arsenal are believed to be already plotting a summer move for the £100m-rated forward.

And Spurs are also keeping tabs with Brentford’s Ivan Toney another target for around the same fee.

Howe added: “Isak was excellent against West Ham.

“He didn’t score in open play but his two penalties were outstanding and his general play was very good.

“His link play, athleticism, he looked in a really good place.”
