ARSENAL stars were given brutal ratings by French media following Tuesday’s match against Bayern Munich.

The Gunners were held to a 2-2 draw by Thomas Tuchel’s side at the Emirates Stadium.

Bukayo Saka opened the scoring in the 12th minute, but Bayern Munich levelled through Serge Gnabry six minutes later.

Harry Kane then fired the visitors ahead from the penalty spot before half-time.

However, Leandro Trossard scored an equaliser in the 76th minute.

The Gunners were left disappointed with the result after failing to gain an advantage ahead of next week’s trip to the Allianz Arena.

And L’Equipe did not shy away from criticising the players in their post-match ratings.

Saka and Martin Odegaard were the only two players to receive higher than five out of ten, with both handed a six.

William Saliba was given a three while David Raya, Ben White, Gabriel Magalhaes, Jakub Kiwior and Jorginho received a four.

Declan Rice, Kai Havertz and Gabriel Martinelli were all handed a five for their respective performances, with the team scoring 4.6 on average.

L’Equipe were also brutal in their assessment of some Real Madrid and Manchester City players.

The two sides met in the other quarter-final on Tuesday.

Reigning champions Man City were held to a thrilling 3-3 draw at the Santiago Bernabeu.

However, top scorer Erling Haaland failed to impress, scoring just three.

Real Madrid star Jude Bellingham was also handed a three on the night.

Meanwhile, Phil Foden and Eduardo Camavinga were the top scorers with seven and eight respectively.

The Champions League quarter-finals will conclude next week.

The winner of Arsenal vs Bayern Munich will face either Man City or Real Madrid in the semi-finals.
