THE Australian Open 2024 gets underway in just a few days time – and the world’s best stars will be competing for the huge prize pot up for grabs.

Novak Djokovic won the 2023 edition of the tournament after beating Stefanos Tsitsipas, which saw the tennis great enter into DOUBLE-DIGITS with a record tenth title.

The 36-year-old Serbian has won the tournament four times in the last five years, with Spaniard Rafael Nadal winning the tournament in 2022.

Aryna Sabalenka won the Women’s singles at the 2023 Australian Open beating Elena Rybakina in the final to secure the silverware.

World No. 1 Iga Swiatek and US star Coco Gauff are top contenders for this year’s women’s crown.
