THIS is the awkward moment Manchester United’s official TV channel was forced to cut away.
That’s after they apparently realised a fan was wearing United’s new third kit – which is yet to be released.
The Red Devils were in action on Saturday as they faced Rangers in a pre-season friendly.
United were desperate to secure victory after losing 1-0 to Rosenborg midweek.
And they bounced back in style as goals from Amad Diallo and Joe Hugill locked up a 2-0 victory over the Gers at Murrayfield.
Fans are now dreaming of a title charge under Erik ten Hag following the captures of Joshua Zirkzee and Leny Yoro – who starred on his debut in the Scottish capital.
However, United’s in-house TV channel was left red-faced after appearing to film a gaffe live on air.
After the game, MUTV sent a presenter onto the streets outside Murrayfield to interview fans and find out their reactions to the game.
But they ended up going to one supporter who was wearing a never-before-seen United kit.
The white shirt was certainly eye-catching with its red and white stripes.

While it also curiously boasted the SnapDragon logo – who are United’s new shirt sponsors.
The presenter spent several seconds talking to the fan, who expressed his delight at being at the match.

But the conversation was quickly cut short as MUTV ended the interview before panning the camera away.
According to fans on social media, the jersey shown is actually United’s new third kit for the upcoming season.
And it hasn’t even been released by the club yet, leaving supporters baffled as to how the rogue fan obtained one.
One person said: “I’m crying, MUTV clocked he was wearing an unreleased version of the third kit.”
Another declared: “Lmao how did he get it.”
One noted: “He should be the face of the launching.”
Another added: “I was watching that live, nearly spat my coffee out, did you notice how quickly she moved on.”
Nine managers Man Utd considered before keeping Erik ten Hag
ERIK TEN HAG appears to be safe as Man Utd manager, but the Dutchman edged dangerously close to the sack.
Here are nine managers Red Devils chiefs are reported to have considered for the job and what allegedly happened with each.
Gareth Southgate
Enjoys plenty of support among Sir Jim Ratcliffe’s Ineos chiefs but made clear he wouldn’t talk to any clubs until after Euro 2024. There is yet to be any suggestion that contact was made with the England boss.
Kieran McKenna
Talks were opened with McKenna’s representatives before the FA Cup final, but the former Man Utd coach opted to sign a new deal with Ipswich after Ten Hag’s Wembley win.
Roberto De Zerbi
Allegedly sounded out before the FA Cup final with salary expectations discussed. But Ineos chiefs concluded ex-Brighton boss was not the right fit for the project.
Thomas Frank
Brentford boss met Man Utd representatives the day before the FA Cup final. The Dane also dined with Ratcliffe, Roy Hodgson and Frank Lampard at the launch of a new Ineos car in February.
Marco Silva
Fulham boss reportedly met Man Utd representatives face-to-face two days before the FA Cup final, around the same time as Ten Hag was conducting his press conference.
Mauricio Pochettino
Fell out of Man Utd’s thinking in the first week of June, despite being a favourite of Sir Alex Ferguson.
Thomas Tuchel
Made a very strong impression and came across well during a Monaco meeting. Personal terms were discussed before the ex-Chelsea and Bayern Munich boss decided to step back from the process.
Ruben Amorim
Sporting boss was discussed by the Man Utd hierarchy but did not make the final reckoning.
Roberto Martinez
Portugal manager was considered in the early stages.
