BBC commentator makes awkward joke as Scotland star Blair Kinghorn VOMITS live on TV during Six Nations clash

SCOTLAND star Blair Kinghorn VOMITTED on live TV leading to an awkward joke from a BBC commentator.

The fullback took a knee during the Six Nations clash against Wales during the second half.

He still went on to win the player of the match[/caption]

As the camera panned onto the Scottish star, it was clear that he was struggling with something.

And then seconds later, the no.15 could be seen throwing up onto the pitch.

Commentator Andrew Cotter could not help but crack an awkward joke at the star’s expense.

He said: “Oh we joined you just in time for that, we will bring you live Blair Kinghorn news.”

His co-commentator, then chimed in with: “Well if anybody was hungry a couple of minutes ago they are not going to be hungry now.”

Fans were stunned as the unfortunate moment was on full display.

One posted: “Nooo, they did not have to show Blair Kinghorn being sick on the pitch.”

A second wrote: “Just sat down for some curry, look on the TV and see Blair Kinghorn blowing chunks…food can wait until later.”

A third commented: “Two tries and a quick puke. Has been a wild ride for Kinghorn today.”

A fourth said: “Bleurgh Kinghorn.”

Despite the unfortunate moment for Kinghorn, it was a happy end to the match.

He was also named the player of the match for his performance.

Speaking after the game, Kinghorn said on BBC: “Yeah, I did not realise I was on the big screen.

“I am sure that will come up in the next few days.”

The Scotland team ran out 35-22 winners over the Welsh to leave them third in the Six Nations table.

The victory followed on from Ireland’s defeat to France in which they were outscored 42-27.
