OLYMPICS reporter Andy Stevenson superbly responded to disgusting trolls that have mocked him during his time covering boxing at the Paris Games.
The Northern Irish broadcaster was born with short arms, no hands and a left leg that only extends to the knee which forces him to wear a prosthetic.
Stevenson shared this picture on social media[/caption]But that has not prevented him from enjoying a 20-year career in the media, working for organisations such as the BBC and Eurosport.
It is the BBC that Stevenson has been reporting for in France and he has been present for the boxing finals at Roland Garros in recent days.
Vile trolls have mocked him for his disability during the Olympics, but he hit back with the perfect response on social media.
Speaking on X on Friday, he shared a photo of him at the boxing in Paris and said: “The people amused/shocked/appalled that the BBC would hire a boxing reporter with no arms are going to fall off their sofas when they hear I also do golf, tennis, snooker etc.
“PS I also have a prosthetic leg and report on football.”
Many of Stevenson’s followers reacted to the post by praising his attitude towards the sickening abuse.
One said: “Well done Andy! Keep doing what you’re doing!”
Another added: “Legend, that’s all that is needed here.”
A third responded: “Bloody good for you .”
While a fourth replied: “We’ve absolutely loved your commentary Andy – and actually we went on a little dig to see your journey, and get to know you better!!!!!
“You’re a refreshing commentator .”
