It will be her second time competing at the Games having made her debut in Tokyo three years ago.

She is widely considered one of the most promising divers in the world – and her dad is convinced she will win big over the next two weeks.

Speaking on BBC Sport, he said: “I would be lying if I did not say my daughter Andrea will win a medal.”

Reality TV star Sirieix, who is working as a pundit for the BBC this summer, shared an adorable picture of the teenager on social media this weekend.

In the photo, Andrea is seen sleeping in a box as a child, covered in a blue blanket.

Her dad posted the image on X with a caption that read: “Dad just sent this on the family chat. All this talk about the Olympic beds.

“Andrea had no problem getting used to them. Look where she once slept as a little girl.”

His post was in reference to the cardboard beds that have been installed in the Olympic athletes’ village.

Fans took to the comments to react, with one person writing: “That is so cute!”

Another simply said: “Fabulous!”

While a third wrote: “Is Fred the nicest Frenchman ever?”

Andrea is determined to fully emerge from her dad’s shadow this summer.

She recently told SunSport: “At the beginning, all I got was that I was Fred’s daughter. I wasn’t Andrea.

“Then people realised, she’s more than just someone’s daughter, she has a lot more to say.

“I feel like that has helped me come out of this shadow. I’m really proud of my dad. And he does incredible things. But I want to build my own legacy.

“Also for my children in the future. I don’t want them to just be someone’s daughter or someone’s son. I want them to be their own person.

“I’m being recognised for the achievements that I have, not just from being 50 per cent of someone’s DNA.

“It’s been a progression since Tokyo. I’ve grown into the woman that I am today. Everything has progressed and it’s so nice to have my own identity.”
