The defender has already admitted that he doesn’t like watching football – even though he plays for one of England’s top clubs.

And his team-mates have previously joked about his complex relationship with the game.

However, Arsenal fans absolutely love him for it.

And some have even branded his interviews “iconic”.

White spoke to Viaplay following Arsenal’s dramatic 4-3 win over Luton on Tuesday.

And his direct attitude left fans in stitches.

When former Norway star Jan Aage Fjortoft asked him about Arsenal’s habit of winning games late, White replied: “Winning in any concept… It’s a hard place to come and we’ve come and got three points which is difficult.”

Fjortoft then went on to question him about Arsenal’s struggles with defending set-pieces, to which the England star responded: “We knew they were going to be a threat from set pieces and we didn’t manage to nullify that, but when you win like that it makes up for it.”

And at the end of the interview, White was asked about the difference between Arsenal last season and this season.

The defender then gave a blunt seven-word response, stating: “I guess you’ll find out, I suppose.”

Fans took to X to react to the hilarious interview, with one person writing: “Ben White interviews are iconic.”

Another commented: “I’ve woken up to a Ben White interview and honestly there’s nothing better.”

A third wrote: “Benny Blanco interviews always crack me up 😂.”

While a fourth added: “Viaplay Ben White interviews are football heritage.”

Arsenal defeated Luton 4-3 thanks to a last-gasp goal from Declan Rice.

Luton had equalised twice before the Gunners clinched all three points in the final minute of the match.
