BRITISH SUPERSPORT star Jack Kennedy was left fuming after Ryanair charged him £75 to bring home a trophy.
The four-time world champion won at Thruxton last weekend to move top of the standings as he chases a fifth title.
The Irishman is a decorated rider[/caption]But he revealed he had to shell out to bring home his trophy as the Irishman returned home from the UK.
He took to X to vent his frustration alongside a photo as he got on board.
He wrote: “Nice one @Ryanair charging me £75 to bring my trophy on board that I won in the UK and travelling home to Ireland FR667. What an absolute joke.”
Fans were divided on social media over the extra fee.
One wrote: “Ryanair would charge you per finger and per toe if they could.”
Another added: “You should’ve put it on your head and said it’s a designer hat mate.”
A third asked: “Awful, but is it a surprise?”
A fourth commented: “Whats surprising is people travelling Ryanair and still being surprised by the additional charges.”

While a fifth wrote: “As much as you’re a great sportsman, you aren’t different to anyone else.
“It’s classed as luggage/extra weight etc…. maybe next time send it by Royal Mail and wait forever for it to turn up ( that’s if it does )…..”
Ryanair have been contacted for comment.
