In a cruel twist of the knife she then forwarded a photograph of Kyle secretly enjoying a playdate with both of his children in a park.
Tearful Annie, 30, had long suspected he was the father of Lauryn’s baby daughter, born in July, after he bought her a £2.5million mansion.
But the Boxing Day exchange between the two confirmed her worst fears and sent her world spiralling into free-fall.
Broken Annie banished the £160,000-a-week player from the family’s £2.4million home and has since ditched her wedding ring.
In a short Instagram statement the cheating Three Lions ace began by describing her as “an amazing woman”.
He went on: “I can only apologise for the upset I’ve caused her.
“She’s been part of my life for so long and that will never change for the sake of our children.
“I would ask for privacy for all of our family, and especially our young children, whilst we work through these difficult times.”
The full-back did not say what he was sorry for, but it followed confirmation that Lauryn’s newborn baby, a girl born in July, is his.
He confessed to Annie during an explosive Boxing Day row after she was sent a series of messages confirming her worst fears.
She was left floored by the contents and immediately ordered the player – in City’s squad to play Newcastle tonight – to pack his bags.
Kyle retreated to an exclusive apartment near the family home in Prestbury, Cheshire, and broke cover yesterday as he turned up to training.
Annie, who has three young sons with the player, previously agreed to stand by the footballer despite his 2019 fling with Lauryn.
