Despite their obvious friendships, the pals weren’t afraid to poke fun at each other.

Solskjaer, who has been out of work since being sacked by the Red Devils in November 2021, asked Neville how his brother Phil is getting on.

The younger Neville brother is currently managing Portland Timbers in MLS, having been axed by Inter Miami last year.

After saying that Phil is enjoying himself in the States, Neville asked Solskjaer: “Have you thought about going over to America?”

Solskjaer replied: “Oh yeah, I went last October, spoke to a few clubs.”

Neville then further quizzed the former Man Utd boss: “Would you take a job over there?”

To which Solskjaer responded: “Yeah, I think I would.”

Keane, having been tucking into a pie, cut in and joked: “At Disneyland?”

Neville burst out laughing, before saying: “It’s like the changing room, brutal that.”

The former full-back then asked: “Would you feel happy over there in America?”

And Solskjaer replied: “I don’t know. You don’t know until you try, do you?”

The Norwegian, 51, lifted the lid on his time as Man Utd boss during their conversation.

He revealed his regret at the Red Devils not signing Jude Bellingham and Declan Rice during his stint as boss.

Solskjaer also revealed that certain stars snubbed the captaincy for certain games, and he also discussed Cristiano Ronaldo’s doomed return to the club.

On the Portuguese, 39, he said: “When I was manager of Manchester United, I can’t remember too many problems from Cristiano Ronaldo.

“It was the game against Everton when he walked straight off the pitch after I brought him on as a substitute, but there were more problems with him after I had left the club.

“I had a good relationship with Cristiano and there’s loads of respect between us. I think he behaved really well in his disappointments when I was there.”
