NOTHING stays the same forever.
And that includes the Premier League, which is making a number of tweaks this season.
Team news will now be released 75 MINUTES before kick-off, 15 minutes earlier than had been the case before.
Things could get crowded on the touchline, with the number of substitutes permitted to warm-up boosted from three players per team to FIVE.
There’s also a change to how added time is calculated when a team scores a goal, an update to the ‘multiball’ system and the introduction of semi-automated offsides – but not straight away.

He said: “I’m really excited to be here. I had a good chat with the gaffer [Russell Martin].
“Obviously, he told me everything I needed to hear.”
Archer has penned a four-year deal to sign for the south coast club, who were promoted back to the Premier League after beating Leeds in the Championship play-off final last season.
The England Under-21 ace had a Villa return clause in his contract for if the Blades were relegated last season, which they were after finishing bottom.
Unai Emery‘s side exercised the clause to bring Archer back to Villa Park, but just 36 days later Archer has now departed for pastures new again.
Fifa‘s player registration rules state stars can be registered with a maximum of three clubs during one season, though they are only eligible to play official matches for two.
On his arrival, new boss Martin said: “Cameron is a really exciting young talent with huge potential to improve, and we’re really delighted to add him to the group in time for our first game back in the Premier League.
“He’s had a really good pre-season – he’s sharp and ready to go.

“He’s a constant threat with his pace and ability to score goals, and will have learned a lot from playing regularly in the Premier League last season.
“Now it’s up to us to help him develop and showcase how good he can be at this level.”
