He then took on Smith, and produced an amazing nine-darter to the delight of the crowd.
While most fans were left buzzing by Price’s exploits, a few in the upper tier were not paying attention, instead engaging in a scuffle.
Video footage circulating online shows a trio of men appearing to clinch.
In amongst it was a woman dressed as Where’s Wally? – who appeared to jump into the fray before being handled by security.
As the scene played out, other fans were sent into dreamland as Price could be seen sealing his nine-darter in the background.
Reacting on social media, one fan called the scene “bonkers”.
While a second said: “beyond cringe really.”

A third added: “Pathetic stuff.”
In the other semi-final, Luke Littler overcame Nathan Aspinall 6-4 to book a spot against Price.
The 17-year-old then defeated the Welshman 6-3 to win his second consecutive night in the Premier League.
Littler’s triumph saw him climb to the top of the table… although he later joked that his evening had been ruined by his beloved Manchester United.
After the Red Devils collapsed to lose 4-3 at Chelsea, Littler said: “I’m glad I won, I just saw United concede two in two minutes. I am glad to win.
“I have settled into it. The first 5-6 weeks I won the first game and then lost and lost. But winning last week gave me so much confidence coming to Manchester.
“I saw he was 4-0 up, averaging 123, I was like: ‘Stop it, stop it Gezzy.’ But I then focused and practised, I left it until the end.
“I go whatever way I feel on the board. If I am comfortable, I will try to go for it.
“Tonight, we did all our own thing. Last week the practice paid off. Same as tonight. It has paid off.
“There are 6-7 weeks to go, I have to plug away, get 2-3 points each week, and I am sure I will make the play-offs. The crowd have been amazing.”
