EAGLES fans caused carnage on the streets of Philadelphia as they celebrated their Super Bowl win by setting fires, climbing on cop cars, and brawling.

Revellers let off fireworks and took over the center of the city after their team dominated the Kansas City Chiefs 40 to 22 in New Orleans on Sunday night.

Cops estimated some 10,000 Eagles fans were out on Broad Street and surrounding areas following the Super Bowl 59 win with some climbing light poles, trees, and sanitation trucks.

City Hall was lit up with green lights as the crowds gathered in front of it chanting for their team.

A total of 17 people were arrested during the chaos, including five people accused of assaulting police officers.

Roughly 30 citations were handed out for disorderly conduct and eight vandalism-related incidents were investigated, cops said.

A crowd on 12th and Market streets ransacked a truck full of white towels outside a hotel and then set fire to them.

Some fans lit a Chiefs jersey on fire and shouted “f*** Taylor Swift”.

One group of fans pulled down a traffic light and then kicked it broken before they lifted it onto a truck.

Others climbed on top of an ambulance and began dancing, while some fans climbed onto the roof of a police van.

Philadelphia’s Jell-o man was also seen firing alcoholic shots from a slingshot into the crowd.

Bizarre scenes saw men in banana suits climb on top of a bus stop and a person dressed as Elmo egged on by a crowd get into a dance-off.

Others brawled in the middle of the street as booze-fuelled fans lost control.

Cops kept a heavy presence in the area and had to call for backup after their repeated pleas for people to leave went unheard.

Philadelphia cops ordered the crowd to disperse at 1:35 am in an alert broadcast to cellphones.

Officers on horseback were brought in to break the crowds apart as motorcycle and bicycle cops pinned down those who became too rowdy.

One clip posted to social media showed a cop shove a man who appeared to be trying to jump over security gates.

The win in New Orleans on Sunday marked only the second time the Eagles had lifted the Vince Lombardi trophy.

Philadelphia fans inside the Superdome brought the noise and made a sizeable impact on the Chiefs’ offense.

The Eagles’ defense stopped the Chiefs’ three-peat in its tracks and led to the nearly 20-point blowout.

Fans even tail-gated at the graves of their loved ones, reports claimed.

The Eagles’ official account posted on X saying that they would host a victory parade on Friday, but subsequently deleted it.

It read: “Thought it was time to bring this one out again.

“See ya Friday.”

Huge crowds of Eagles fans in New Orleans also took to Bourbon Street celebrating.

Some fans had cake thrown on them and chocolate milk poured on them from a balcony.

President Donald Trump also attended the game and dug into Travis Kelce’s girlfriend Taylor Swift after the singer was booed.

He posted on social media: “The only one that had a tougher night than the Kansas City Chiefs was Taylor Swift.

“She got BOOED out of the Stadium. MAGA is very unforgiving!”

Trump left the match at half time after attending the game with his children Ivanka and Eric as well as his wife Lara.

Before the game, Trump shared that he was rooting for the Chiefs.

A SUPER Bowl protester was detained by security during Kendrick Lamar’s halftime performance in New Orleans.

The man interrupted the rapper’s show and was tackled on the field in the Caesars Superdome during the showdown between the Philadelphia Eagles and the Kansas City Chiefs.

During Lamar’s halftime performance, a person was spotted unfurling a combined Palestinian and Sudanese flag complete with black hearts.

The protester jumped on a car used in the performance and waved the flag for several minutes before being spotted by security.

The man, dressed all in black, then leapt off the stage and onto the field during the interval.

He attempted to run away from security before being tackled by three workers.

The protestor was swiftly dragged away on his knees after refusing to get to his feet.
