CHELSEA hammered League Two minnows with Christopher Nkunku bagging a hat-trick.

But despite having lots to cheer, some Blues fans were devastated when cameras cut away at just the wrong moment.

Frenchman Nkunku opened the scoring on eight minutes before doubling his tally on the quarter hour mark.

A free-kick from Joao Felix which deflected off Barrow keeper Paul Farman and a second-half Pedro Neto strike wrapped up the game.

But Nkunku got the last word to complete his hat-trick just before the full-time whistle.

And it gave him the opportunity to do his trademark celebration with an inflated balloon.

The forward did not pull it out of his sock for his two prior goals in the match but did for the third.

However, Sky Sports cameras cut away just as he went to blow up the blue balloon – leaving fans devastated.

One said: “Hate crime when they cut off Nkunku balloon celebration.”

Another added: “No balloon for Nkunku’s first Chelsea hat trick, game ruined.”

The game also saw the return of Ben Chilwell, who looked set to leave in the summer after being dropped by manager Enzo Maresca.

But he came on to replace Malo Gusto as Maresca said: “It was not easy for Chilly.

“He didn’t get any minutes this season but he has shown he is there, he is ready and working well.

“There is not any problem. If we have a chance, we will give him some more minutes in games.”
