CHELSEA have placed Artem Dovbyk high on their transfer shortlist
The Ukrainian striker has spearheaded Girona’s shock charge to the summit of LaLiga thanks to his 11 goals and four assist return in the league.
And this form has put the 26-year-old on Chelsea‘s radar.
Mauricio Pochettino has sent scouts to watch Dovbyk in the last few weeks.
And the Blues boss has been particularly impressed by the 6ft 2in striker’s physical profile.
Pochettino wants to add “weight” to his Blues front line.
And Dovbyk is now seen as the ideal candidate.
Poch wants him to compete with Nicolas Jackson for the number 9 spot.
And the sooner the better with 22-year-old Jackson heading to the African Cup of Nations with Senegal in the coming weeks.
A move for Dovbyk move will further be facilitated by the exit of Armando Broja.

The 22-year-old is on his way out of Stamford Bridge and offers for him will come in January, with to the star wanting more playing time.
Dovbyk has the same agent as Mykhailo Mudryk.

His contract runs until 2028 and he could be sold for around 45 million euros or £39m.
