Eubank, 35, and Benn will go face-to-face tonight at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium in North London.

The Brighton boxer has since been fined £375,000 for being over the limit.

Eubank had claimed that he had asked to go to the toilet before the weigh-in, but was told no.

He insisted that this was a “tactic” used to get “under the skin”.

In a final weigh-in this morning Next Gen has hit the target weight.

And it was good news for him as he made weight at 169.4lbs and he will avoid another fine.

Both fighters are allowed to put on 10lbs from the limit due to the rehydration limit.

Benn weighed 165lbs and was well inside the 170lbs limit.

Eubank took drastic measures in his attempts to make the required weight.

His methods included wearing a sweat suit while on an exercise bike and a thermo sleeping bag.

The boxer’s efforts even led fans to fear for his health ahead of the fight.

The punishment had they missed the weight is a fine of £100,000 per pound over.

Meanwhile, the two boxers have also been in a row over the gloves being used by Benn.

Eubank’s camp have claimed that the Everlast gloves should not have been signed off.

But promoter Eddie Hearn has said that the British Boxing Board of Control have signed off on the horse hair made gloves.

Eubank goes into the bout as the favourite for victory over the regular middleweight Benn.

They will fight three decades on from their father’s rivalry in the 1990s.

It also comes less than three years after their 2022 clash was cancelled following Benn’s failed drugs tests.
