COLOMBIAN right-back Daniel Munoz wants a move to Crystal Palace — and will push Belgian side Genk to do a deal.

Munoz, 27, is on the Eagles’ wish-list, as revealed last week, and has put a stop to talks with two Brazilian clubs.

Genk are holding out for a big fee while Palace have their own lower valuation, but a compromise may be struck.

Palace also want Marseille forward Iliman Ndiaye, 23, but the French club are yet to commit to letting him leave either as a sale or a loan.

Meanwhile Palace may let out midfield powerhouse David Ozoh, 18, and forward Jesurun Rak-Sakyi, 21, on loan if they find more senior players.

Teenager Ozoh has appeared off the bench in four of Palace’s last six Premier League matches.

However, Rak-Sakyi has been sidelined since November with a hamstring injury.

As for incomings, Munoz would become Roy Hodgson’s first January signing.

The Colombia international has made 148 appearances for Genk since signing in 2020.

In that time, he has scored 19 goals and provided 20 assists from right-back.

Elsewhere, Ndiaye is already known to fans in England from his time with Sheffield United.

The Senegal midfielder was named in the Championship team of the season last term, before his move to Marseille.

He has since scored just once in 23 appearances across all competitions.
