DANA WHITE has announced a “Baddest Motherf***er” title fight between Justin Gaethje and Max Holloway for UFC 300.
The BMF belt was first created in 2019 and won by Jorge Masvidal after he stopped Nate Diaz in three rounds.
But it was last year brought back and inherited by Gaethje, who avenged his 2018 loss to Dustin Poirier with a head kick KO in their rematch.
Now the American will put the belt on the line against featherweight legend Holloway, White has revealed.
He said: “Fifty wins between them. Thirty-four finishes. Two of the best strikers in the sport. Two of the most durable fighters in the sport.
“Two of the most aggressive guys in the sport. Gaethje destroys all guys with leg kicks and power in both hands.
“Max is regarded by many to be the best boxer in the UFC and has made many top-ten guys look like they don’t even belong there with him.
“Two of the all-time greats in the division, and this fight will be five rounds for the BMF title.”
Gaethje, 35, is renowned for his electric style and has seven UFC Fight of the Night bonuses to his name.
And Holloway, 32, is just as well loved, having won the same award six times.
