DANA WHITE has issued a fresh update on the main event for UFC 300, which he’s claimed MMA fans won’t be able to “handle”.

Mixed martial arts’ top promotion will host its eagerly-anticipated 300th pay-per-view event in Las Vegas on April 13.

The Sin City extravaganza, which WON’T feature superstar Conor McGregor, is on the brink of being finalised following a spate of bookings over the last few weeks.

The main event for the historic card still remains a mystery and there aren’t any rumblings over who will top the bill at the T-Mobile Arena.

White revealed last weekend that he’ll “soon” announce the card’s showpiece fight, which he’s continued to tease on Instagram Live.

Early on Thursday morning, he said: “I had an announcement for 300 yesterday.

“You’ll get the main event when I’m ready to give you the main event.

“I’ve been squeezing them out one by one.”

According to White, 54, MMA fans will be blown away by UFC 300’s main event.

He continued: “When I’m ready to give you the main event, you’ll get the main event.

“You’re not ready yet. You can’t handle the main event.”

He continued: “We have a couple of options for the main event. We’re still playing with it, still playing with it.

“When it’s time, I will give it to you. 300 is gonna be the sickest card from top to bottom.

“The first fight of the night you guys are gonna go, ‘What the f**k?’

“You cannot not be watching ESPN the first fight of the night for 300.”

UFC 300 currently has nine fights finalised and is already stacked with fan favourites and former champions.

Former men’s flyweight, men and women’s bantamweight, featherweight, lightweight and light-heavyweight champions Deiveseon Figueiredo, Aljamain Sterling, Holly Holm, Max Holloway, Charles Oliveira and Jiri Prochazka are all set to grace the octagon on what will be a historic night for the promotion.

They will take on Cody Garbrandt, Calvin Kattar, Kayla Harrison, Justin Gaethje, Arman Tsarukyan and Aleksandr Rakic respectively.

Weili Zhang’s Battle of China with Yan Xiaonan is currently the only title fight set for the card, with Magnum set to defend her women’s strawweight belt.

Bo Nickal will look to continue his surge up the middleweight ranks in a showdown with veteran Cody Brundage.

Fan favourite Jim Miller – who fought at UFC 100 and UFC 200 – will also be in action on the card, locking horns with Bobby Green.
