DANIIL Medvedev suffered a complete meltdown during his ATP Tour Finals game against Taylor Fritz.
The Russian tennis star, 28, seemed to lose the plot when he was broken in the second set.

But it was antics during the contest that had the crowd puzzled.
While his American opponent Fritz couldn’t help but burst into laughter with what he was seeing.
Clearly frustrated, the world No4 repeatedly tossed his racket in the air.
Then, he amusingly turned his racket upside down and tried to return a point.
Medvedev’s bizarre behaviour didn’t put Fritz off – who won comfortably.
After the game, the US Open finalist saw the funny side.
“I mean, I was just laughing. I think he’s really funny, to be honest,” Fritz said.
“Even when he’s not playing me, he always cracks me up.
“He’s pretty funny. I was laughing more in between the points when he was, like, tossing the racket up. It’s just him.
“He had the upside down racket, but it’s 40-Love on my serve. It’s whatever. He ended up making the return anyways.”
Tennis stars’ new careers
PLENTY of tennis stars have stayed involved in the sport since retiring.
But others pursued very different careers. Here are some of the best…

- I won Wimbledon mixed doubles with my sister but got fed up with English weather so now run luxury B&B
- I was tipped for stardom aged 12 but retrained to become high-flying lawyer
- I earned £9m and won French Open before setting up bistro with Brazilian model girlfriend
- I’m last Frenchman to win Roland Garros, now I’m singer with six albums hitting No1 in charts
- I’m former world No1 but quit aged 29 – instead I went on to play professional poker and golf
- I was destined for the top but swapped lobs for labs as award-winning Harvard physicist

Medvedev is no stranger to losing his temper during matches.
Back in October, he was seen in an angry exchange with an umpire at the Shanghai Masters.
Medvedev is back in action on November 13, when he faces off against Jannik Sinner.
