Danny Cipriani’s wife Victoria Rose takes a swipe at star after it’s revealed they’ve split after two years of marriage

DANNY Cipriani’s wife Victoria has taken a swipe at the rugby star just hours after news of their split broke.

Earlier today, it emerged the pair had broken up after nearly three years of marriage.

After reports of their separation began to circulate, Danny confirmed the split on his instagram.

He wrote: “Victoria and I sat together this weekend and agreed to separate after 4 years of marriage.

“Whilst we’ve had some wonderful times together, we’ve also recognised we’re on different journeys and whilst this is sad news, it’s also a new chapter for us both to pursue our own happiness.

“I only wish the best for Victoria and her children.”

But Victoria clearly wasn’t happy with Danny taking it upon himself to share this status on his social media and posted a statement of her own.

Hitting back, she wrote: “I’m not sure why Daniel needs to tell instagram of his relationship status. I don’t wish for the invasion. Could I ask for some privacy, while navigating through this fragile time.”

The Mail claimed the pair split after Victoria saw “messages on his phone”.

A source revealed to the publication that up until the summer, the marriage had been in good shape.

They added: “Victoria had been increasingly unhappy over the last few months.

“Things got tense and then she saw some text messages on his phone and it led to some difficult rows between them and they have now split up.

They are both devastated at the breakdown of their marriage.”

It is believed Danny has already moved out of the marital home in Kent.

The writing appeared to have been on the wall for several weeks as the pair recently unfollowed each other on social media.

Danny also hasn’t uploaded any snaps of his wife on his grid or stories in the last few months.

Meanwhile health care campaigner Victoria, 42, was seen without her wedding ring recently.
