LAURA Woods was labelled a “vile” person in dark messages sent by her stalker.

The presenter, 36, endured two years of torment by Harneet Kaur, 25, who targeted her online under the name “Krazy Harns” and even sent the broadcaster a sexual health test kit.

She has now been sentenced to 14 months in prison.

Kaur’s harassment campaign involved terrifying threats to kill Laura’s dog and sending bibles, and food orders to her London home.

Female Liverpool FC fan Kaur was infatuated with Woods and began visiting the street she lived on, a court heard.

Messages posted by Kaur online called Woods a “vile, stuck-up person”, a “Tory“, and even labelled her a “former prostitute who slept herself into a job”.

In October, Kaur posted a message saying “wtf is that coke head doing at Anfield” as well as a photo of Woods‘ face on the body of an “overweight man”.

Kaur launched a campaign of harassment between June 2021 and September 2023 which had an “enormous and devastating” effect on the broadcaster, according to Woods’ victim impact statement.

Kaur was arrested in April 2022 and re-arrested in August later the same year.

Her phone and iPad were seized both times, but the arrests failed to stop her campaign.

Judge Talog Davies said Woods was initially “pleasantly surprised and thought it was a mistake or somebody being nice” by a donuts delivery order.

Woods posted a picture on her Twitter account saying the donuts had “made her evening”, but it was part of the harassment campaign.

Sentencing her to 14 months in prison, he said Kaur would have known the impact she was having on Woods.

Prosecutors said Kaur’s actions had left the sports presenter with a “real fear” that the defendant would get close to her while she was working.

Kaur has been banned from contacting Woods and 14 other people, and cannot go within 500m of her home.

Woods suffers from anxiety and has been forced to increase security at home and while at work.

Kaur, who has autism, was previously banned from Liverpool‘s ground for ticket touting.

Woods was awarded Presenter of the Year by Broadcast Sport after being recognised for her work covering women’s international matches in November last year.

As her popularity has risen, the ex-TalkSport host has seen her earnings go up following her departure from the radio show in June.

Woods was picking up a pay packet of £250,000-a-year to work on TalkSport, but figures show that her assets have now reached a value of over £1million.
