Darts favourite Ricky Evans left heartbroken over sudden death of ‘beautiful little sister’ as he pays emotional tribute

DARTS star Ricky Evans’ sister has suddenly passed away.

The 34-year-old fans’ favourite played in the UK Open yesterday, beating Gabriel Clemens before losing to Dave Chisnall.

Evans shared several images of the pair together on social media, writing a touching caption that read: “My beautiful little sister Elisha… I love you so much.

“I’ll always be your best friend.”

His management company added: “We send our deepest condolences to Ricky Evans and his family and friends, after the devastating news of the sudden passing of his sister Elisha.

“Our thoughts and prayers are with you Ricky.”

Fellow player Ross Smith added: “Very sorry to hear this awful news. Sending love to Ricky and his family.”

Fans also penned heartfelt messages, with one writing: “Terrible news.”

More said: “So sad and such a shame.”
