DAVID BECKHAM was in tears after Lionel Messi scored a last-gasp winner on his Inter Miami debut.
The superstar came off the bench to win the game in the fourth minuted of added time in typical Messi fashion.
He bent a 25-yard free-kick over the wall and into the back of the net – a strike Beckham would have been proud of.
Becks could not contain emotion and became tearful, with wife Victoria on hand to embrace him.
The former England captain then high five his co-owner Jorge Mas who was also in disbelief at what he had just witnessed.
Messi’s strike gave Miami a 2-1 win over Cruz Azul in their opening game of the Leagues Cup, with Atlanta United up next in the competition.
