And the American star made a grand entrance for the bout, as he donned a sparkling black robe and crown for his walk to the ring.

However, fans were joke to joke that Wilder was about to “blame it again” if he suffered a shock loss.

One boxing fan joked upon seeing it: “This better be the lightweight version!!!”

Another trolled: “He’s about to blame his L on it again watch.”

“Hope he doesn’t blame his loss on the crown if he does lose,” said a third.

A fourth commented: “He’s about to blame the outfit again.”

While a fifth said: “Oh no his legs will be gone by the time he gets to the ring.”

A sixth followed that sentiment by writing: “He just doesn’t learn. If he loses this costume maker is fired. I promise.”

As another said: “Is it too heavy? Don’t want any excuses like against Fury in the rematch.”

Wilder blamed his seventh-round defeat to Fury in 2020 on the mask, crown and body armour he wore which he claimed was too heavy as he made his way to the ring.

The Black History Month costume backfired horribly as the Bronze Bomber struggled to balance during the defeat.
