DIMITAR BERBATOV has made his feelings clear about one Manchester United flop.

The former Red Devil has claimed that misfiring winger Antony makes him “angry” when he watches his former club.

Speaking to Betfair, the retired icon said: “‘For me, watching as a fan, I get angry when I watch him [Antony] because it’s frustrating.

“I don’t want to compare him to anyone because every player has difficult spells. If Antony can’t get out of his, then he needs to go.”

But despite his criticism of the Brazilian, Berbatov seems to think the 22-year-old can come out of the other side of his poor run of form with some help from his team-mates.

He explained: ” ‘Antony needs someone on the pitch to show him where to run, how to run and when to release the ball.

“If he can’t find the answers on his own, he needs a coach, a friend, an agent, his dad, to give him advice.”

Antony has struggled to make an impact at Old Trafford since his £86m arrival last January.

And the tricky winger is yet to register a single goal or assist this season.

Berbatov hinted that Antony’s own frustration with his performances could be hampering his ability to find form again, suggesting he often “over complicates” things.

And the 42-year-old reckons that if Antony can’t overcome the mental side of his game by the end of the season then he may have to “look for somewhere else to go”.

Antony hasn’t completed a full 90 minutes in the Premier League since early December with Erik ten Hag favouring the likes of Alejandro Garnacho.

Antony has been linked with an early exit from the Manchester giants with suggestions that both he and Jadon Sancho are being offered up to teams in the Saudi Pro League.
