EAGLE-EYED fans spotted Ronnie o’Sullivan’s kind act towards a young supporter after his win over Luca Brecel.
Legend O’Sullivan, 48, defeated the world champion 5-2 in the Riyadh final yesterday to win the inaugural World Masters of Snooker.

The Rocket pocketed £250,000 for winning the contest but he failed to land the £400,000 prize for potting a would-be world record 167 break with the controversial new golden ball rule.
But that did not seem to bother O’Sullivan too much as he took time out from his celebrations by signing a shirt of a young boy who was watching in the front row.
The EuroSport cameras spotted the icon penning his signature as the fan’s face lit up with a huge smile before he gave the Englishman a thumbs up as the champ walked away.
O’Sullivan also revealed that he loved playing in Saudi, saying: “I’m delighted. I came here wanting to do well in this tournament.
“It’s the top players in the world and the first time coming to Saudi Arabia.
“They’re putting on some fantastic events over here, so just to be a part of it was great. But to win it is like the icing on the cake.
“I played really well against John [Higgins], that’s probably one of my best performances. I struggled a bit against Judd, I didn’t find my timing and stuff like that.

“But then I played a bit better today in the final, so hopefully there’s a bit of some form coming back.
“[The fans] are so passionate, I’m so excited to see it. I love the culture, I came here and I fit in here perfectly.
“They’re very relaxed, take life at a nice leisurely pace. The work still gets done, and it’s just laid back. That suits my personality really well.
“The fans have been fantastic – chanting mine and Luca’s name at the end there. It’s great, and I can’t wait to come back.”
Regarding the golden ball, no one managed to seal the finish at the event.
Therefore, during the trophy presentation, Turki Al-Sheikh – the chair of the country’s General Entertainment Authority – said the prize pot would be doubled to £800,000 for next year’s tournament.
It was then announced O’Sullivan would have a snooker academy in Riyadh named after him.
O’Sullivan said: “I think they are on about trying to open some academies and get some good coaches over here.
“Try and get a lot of these youngsters playing the game. You never know, you could have a Saudi world champion in 20 years time.”
He then added: “I’ll get to the golden ball next year. You don’t want to take it all at once.
“The tournament this year and the golden ball next year.”
