Littler, 16, captured the hearts of the British public with his incredible run to the World Darts Championship final earlier this month.

The teenage prodigy, who was making his debut at the PDC event, came up short against Luke Humphries as a 7-4 defeat condemned him to the runners-up spot.

But it was still a remarkable achievement to make it to the sport’s biggest match – and he has garnered huge attention along the way.

Littler’s match with Humphries was the most watched non-football event in Sky Sports history with an audience of 4.8MILLION.

And the Warrington-based star has accumulated more than one million followers on Instagram.

Tennis star Raducanu, 21, experienced similar overnight success when she won the US Open as an 18-year-old wildcard in 2021.

Since then, she has struggled to replicate that level on the court, failing to progress past the second round of her last five majors.

Injuries plagued her last year as she missed the final three Grand Slams of the season.

And as she geared up for the Australian Open this month, Raducanu offered some words of wisdom for Littler.

She said: “My friend just sent me a picture of the boy who was like 16, who made the final.

“She was like, ‘I can’t believe this guy’s only 16 years old’.

“I would just say, ‘Keep your circle close, take time to actually enjoy it all, and don’t rush into the next thing straightaway’.”

Raducanu will compete in her first Grand Slam for 12 months when she takes on American Shelby Rodgers on Monday or Tuesday.

Meanwhile, Littler has been included in the Premier League Darts following his performance at the world championships.

His debut in the competition is set to take place in Cardiff on February 1.
