ENGLAND are reportedly set to play a warm-up clash for Euro 2024 at the home of Newcastle United.

The Three Lions head to Germany this summer full of confidence as they look to go one better than they did at the last European Championship.

Gareth Southgate‘s Euro 2020 beaten finalists have been drawn in Group C alongside Denmark, Serbia and Slovenia.

Preparations are now well underway for the tournament with England due to face both Brazil and Belgium in friendlies next month at Wembley.

However, no warm-up matches are yet to be announced for the weeks prior to the Euros.

But the Daily Mail claims that the Three Lions will be heading away from London and hitting the road north.

This report states that Newcastle‘s St. James’ Park is set to host a friendly match on Monday 3 June.

The final details are still to be finalised but the report claimsthat Bosnia will be the opposition.

Official confirmation has yet to be made, but the iconic Premier League stadium appears to be on course to stage its first England international for nearly two decades.

Steven Gerrard and David Beckham were on target as the Three Lions defeated Azerbaijan 2-0 in March 2005 in a World Cup qualifier on Tyneside.

England will reportedly face Bosnia, who they hope will provide some insight into how Serbia and Slovenia may play, before heading back to Wembley.

They will have one final warm-up game there before jetting out to Germany.

Due to the date of the Bosnia game, it seems unlikely that any English players involved in the Champions League final, which is at Wembley on June 1, and the Europa Conference League final on May 29 would take part.
