Meanwhile, Ten Hag’s side once again gave away countless chances to Chelsea as they surrendered their lead in West London.
After the match, TNT Sports‘ Breach claimed it was “unsustainable” for United to concede so many chances whilst speaking to Ten Hag.
The Dutchman was having none of it, though, snapping: “It is ridiculous [to claim it’s unsustainable].
“We showed that we ranked fourth [best] for goals conceded before tonight, and everyone is talking to each other [about the shots] after.
“We are good, and we have good defending as a team and a good goalkeeper so I cannot do nothing.”
Chelsea had a whopping 28 shots last night, continuing a worrying trend for Ten Hag’s team.
It came days after Brentford had 31 shots in Saturday’s 1-1 draw, meaning the Red Devils became only the second side – with Sheffield Utd – to face more than 30 shots in a Premier League game this season.
The Red Devils have now faced 225 SHOTS since January 1.
United had found themselves 2-0 down inside 20 minutes before levelling the match before half-time.
Alejandro Garnacho then put the visitors in front during the second half only for Chelsea to stage a dramatic late turnaround.

Cole Palmer completed his hat-trick with goals in the 10th and 11th minutes of added time.
Reflecting on the performance, Ten Hag added: “Yes we started poor, kicking the ball away and defending poorly.
“But you saw we were dominating the game and it was brilliant how we played – we deserved to win the game.
“But, you cannot give it away like we did and we have to manage this game better. It is a team performance, you can point to one of the players but it is about team performance.
“When it gets chaotic you have to deal with it as a team and we made the wrong decisions and we didn’t help out as a team. Out of possession we made bad decisions – a lack of concentration.
“Also, I think unlucky at the end with the penalty situation, questionable and very soft but we have to do better.”
