The Toffees currently only have 12 players in their 24-man squad that are contracted past the end of the season.

Everton does have the option to make both Broja and Lindstrom permanent deals at the end of the season.

Fans have spotted Everton’s precarious position and compared it to Chelsea, which has plenty of stars on long-term contracts.
