F1 Chinese Grand Prix 2024: UK Start time, stream, schedule as Norris looks to build on chaotic Sprint qualifying win

THE Chinese GP returns after a four-year hiatus due to Covid-19 and there has already been chaos on the Shanghai track.

It was bizarre scenes on Friday as fires reportedly broke out during the Sprint qualifying race.

However, British McLaren star Lando Norris held his nerve to secure pole ahead of Lewis Hamilton.

This makes for an interesting GP as serial winner Max Verstappen fell to fourth on the grid following his Japanese Grand Prix triumph.

But the three-time world champion will still be favourite to win in what is expected to be a dramatic wet race.
