CAMERON MENZIES could face a darts rap after saying “fat f***” seconds after landing his first PDC ranking title.

The Scottish ace beat Stephen Bunting 8-4 to win the Players Championship 29 event in Leicester on Wednesday night.

Menzies, 35, didn’t realise he was live on air when he joyfully told himself: “Get in ya fat f***.”

The outburst was broadcast live on PDC TV seconds after the final had finished.

He admitted the mistake when questioned later on social media.

The Darts Anonymous account on X said: “I need to know what Menzies was saying to himself after he won and he had his head pressed against the board, the second he realised the board mic could pick up his voice he immediately regretted whatever he said.”

Menzies responded: “Get in ya fat f***. Or you spawny fat f***.”

The emotional Scot, known for his expressive and flamboyant stage antics, could face a fine from the Darts Regulation Authority for his colourful language.

It would be a harsh outcome as Menzies didn’t realise he was live on air as the dartboard has a mic on it.

The Scot also received a message from Luke Littler on X, with The Nuke writing: “Well in Cammy.”

Menzies replied to the teenage sensation: “Cheers kiddo.”

Menzies is in the same Dunvegan Darts management team, run by Tommy Gilmour MBE, as Gary Anderson.

He is dating Fallon Sherrock and away from the Oche is a huge Rangers fan.

Menzies still works as a plumber but hopes to quit in the future to turn professional full-time.

On Sherrock, he revealed: “She helps me tremendously in my career.

“When we were dating in the beginning, I was in Scotland a lot and she was in England.

“But we often played against each other then by video calling during practice sessions. And we still do practice together a lot.

“Honestly, without her I wouldn’t be where I am today. She also keeps pressing me to train because we both get lazy if we don’t practice.

“Who is the better of the two of us? I think I’m a tad better, but she’s better on stage when you’re in the spotlight. She just handles that better.

“She has bigger balls than me. I’m getting better at it, but when it comes down to the marbles in an important match Fallon performs better.

“Hopefully one day I can keep up with her level in that area.”
