MANCHESTER UNITED fans believe that hero Scott McTominay delivered an X-rated blast at Liverpool supporters as he celebrated yesterday’s thrilling win.

Sir Alex Ferguson was in the stand to watch United’s rollercoaster 4-3 victory over their rivals in the FA Cup on Sunday.

That dramatic late triumph secured a semi-final with Coventry as Erik ten Hag’s side remained in the hunt for silverware.

It was McTominay that got the Red Devils off to a flyer but Alexis Mac Allister and Mo Salah put the visitors ahead before the break – with both goals enraging Roy Keane.

Substitute Antony struck at the end of normal time to send the clash into extra-time, only for Harvey Elliott’s deflected effort to restore Liverpool’s lead.

Marcus Rashford then pounced late on to seemingly send it to penalties – but there would be another dramatic twist in store.

Another sub, Amad Diallo, fired home after a counter-attack in the closing seconds to win it – only for his celebrations to be cut-short after removing his shirt and getting sent-off as he picked up a second booking.

The final whistle was met with wild scenes inside Old Trafford while the 9,000 away supporters sat in stunned silence.

McTominay, now United’s second top scorer this term with nine goals, raced to hug goalkeeper Andre Onana at full-time.

And after a fan filmed the scenes, some eagle-eyed ones believe that the Scottish star aimed a not-so-subtle scream towards the travelling supporters behind the goal.

“McTominay not holding back after the game winning goal,” commented one.

Another said: Scott McTominay saying f*** you to the Liverpool fans and Andre Onana giving it back after he (no doubt) copped it all second half and in extra time.

“Love that, these videos are so good.”

A third wrote: “McTominay with a cheeky “f*** you” to Liverpool fans. You love to see it.”

While a fourth declared that the academy graduate was “a true Mancunian”.

It was impossible to tell exactly what McTominay said or where he directed it.

Meanwhile, fans were quick to praise manager Ten Hag as “meaning business” after they spotted four tactical changes he made as United chased the game.

That included Bruno Fernandes going to centre-half and Antony moving to left-back – a move that was met by fury from the attacker.

The Brazilian winger was moved to the unfamiliar role after Elliott’s goal as the Dutch coach went all-out to try and salvage something with the switches occurring at the break in extra-time.

Midfielder Mason Mount came off the bench in place of centre-half Victor Lindelof, but as the new formation was being explained, a video filmed by a fan appears to show Antony breaking away from Ten Hag’s team talk before performing a “mind blown” gesture.

Antony then starts to sulk as he trudges away before Rashford and Christian Eriksen look like they tell their team-mate to get on with it.

Goalie Andre Onana arrives on the scene to help organise his new-look defence only for Antony to seemingly complain to Rashford again.

The 24-year-old, who cost £85.5m from Ajax in 2022, then performs another frustrated gesture to the bench and huffs before Liverpool restarted play.
