FURIOUS TNT Sports viewers have demanded a refund after a football match was cancelled.

The National League clash between Altrincham and Rochdale was scheduled for tonight.

However, the game was postponed at the J Davidson Stadium due to a waterlogged pitch.

Following the announcement, TNT Sports posted on X, formerly known as Twitter: “Tonight’s televised TNT Sports game between Altrincham and Rochdale has been postponed.”

Fans who were set to tune into the game took to social media to vent their frustration.

One fan said: “Tuesday night ruined😩.”

A second said: “Does that mean the rescheduled game remains televised and no games will be televised tonight?”

An angry third said: “Will you be refunding your viewers?”

Others asked the broadcaster to move over to Boundary Park, what plays host to Oldham’s clash with Barnet, 22.5 miles away.

One user said: “You moving over to Boundary Park?”

A second said: “Get over to Boundary Park, not far away.”

The broadcaster also subsequently changed their scheduled programme runtime to display an “Original Documentaries” show between 19:30 and 21:15.

However, this was updated to reveal the programme was “Back Into The Sunshine”.

The TNT Sports original details English football‘s return to European competition following the Heysel ban, when English teams were banned from competing in European competition for five seasons.
