Fans joke rugby union ace Alfie Barbeary ‘must be sick of winning’ after Bath star vomits on pitch at end of game

RUGBY fans have joked that Alfie Barbeary must be sick of winning after the Bath star was seen vomiting on the pitch.

Barbeary featured in Bath‘s 17-10 win over Gloucester in their Premiership Rugby clash on Sunday.

But following the game the 23-year-old was seen looking worse for wear.

And as the camera director switched over to show a shot of Barbeary he could then be seen throwing up on the floor.

Some fans in the comments were taken aback by the sight, while others took the chance to make a light-hearted joke.

One fan said: “He’s sick of winning.”

A second said: “Christ. That’s minging.”

A third said: “Someone’s overdone the scrumpy at lunchtime.”

Another said: “That’s the beer coming out.”

A fifth said: “When the hits are so hard and your body rebels… just like football really.”

Barbeary signed a long-term deal with Bath in November 2022.

So far this season he has played 640 minutes and scored 20 points, including four tries.

He has three Under 20 caps for England.

Bath have won seven out of 11 games played this season and are sitting third in the table.

Meanwhile, Gloucester have won just two games and are second from bottom.
