FANS were left baffled after Sky Sports “leaked” future results on their Monday Night Football show.

The blunder came right after Chelsea’s 6-0 win over Everton when the ‘new’ Premier League table was flashed up immediately after the game.

It was good news for Palace though, who will beat West Ham by two according to the table[/caption]

The mistaken table had Arsenal, Liverpool, Aston Villa West Ham, Fulham and Crystal Palace having played an additional game than they had in reality.

According to the new table, Arsenal will lose their next fixture to Wolves by two goals as their goal difference has dropped by two.

Liverpool are also scheduled to lose to Fulham by two goals – which isn’t reflected in the Cottagers’ goal difference which rises by just one.

Crystal Palace will beat West Ham by two goals, with that accurately reflected in the goal difference.

Aston Villa are also due to take another huge step towards Champions League qualification with a win by two goals against Bournemouth.

However the Cherries having that match isn’t reflected in the their games played being increased on the table.

The Sky Sports punditry team did not appear to notice the error at the time though.

Eagle-eyed fans posted on X as they spotted it, however.

It wasn’t the only mistake that Sky made with their graphics that night.

When looking at the race for fourth between Aston Villa and Spurs, the graphic gave Villa a 72 per cent chance of winning the title.

That’s despite Villa being 10 points off league leaders Manchester City with just five games left to play.
