ENGLAND HERO Chloe Kelly was hailed for a telling a cameraman to “f*** off” as she protected Nigeria’s goalkeeper after firing the Lionesses to the World Cup quarters.

The 25-year-old Manchester City forward held her nerve to rifle home the winning spot-kick as England beat Nigeria 4-2 on penalties in the last-16 clash.

Fans loved it as she pushed a camera away from the heartbroken Nigerian goalkeeper

And that is despite the fact that the Lionesses had to play the entirety of extra-time with a player less after Lauren James was sent-off for STAMPING on an opponent’s back.

Kelly stepped up to blast the ball past Chiamaka Nnadozie, who had enjoyed a stellar performance in goal for the African nation, to spark wild celebrations.

However, she instantly showed her “class” as she raced over to the heartbroken Nnadozie and pushed a camera out of the way as it tried to capture the agony on the keeper’s face following her side’s heartbreaking exit.

The stunning gesture did not go unnoticed by viewers at home, who had earlier complained at BBC One’s coverage of the game due to a “technical issue” with the audio.

And they soon took to Twitter to hail her – with one even declaring it made her “proud to be English”.

“Chloe Kelly telling the cameraman off to protect #NGA‘s keeper Nnadozie was such a class act,” read one tweet.

Another said: “Credit to Chloe Kelly for telling the cameraman to do one as she and another Lioness went to console the distraught Nigeria keeper.”

A fellow fan said: “Can I just say that Chloe Kelly is fabulous.

“Not for the fantastic pressure penalty to put England through, which WAS great, but that in the moment of triumph she went to the distraught Nigerian keeper to console her, and tried to shield her from the cameraman.”

Another tweet read: “Chloe Kelly asking the cameraman to back away there from the Nigerian goalkeeper, that’s class from her.”

A fellow supporter echoed that sentiment, writing: “Class from Chloe Kelly there asking the cameraman to move away from a tearful Nnadozie.”

Another said “she told the cameraman to f*** off” while another tweet said: “Thank you #ChloeKelly for reminding me why I am proud of English players. Class there telling the cameraman to get lost.”
