Walker also revealed that his habits have switched down the years, explaining: “My routine changed when I was younger. I would eat loads on the night before the game then loads the day of the game.
“I thought that is going to see me through the game.
“But you get to know that the meal you are eating on the day of the game is nothing.
“It is just to make you feel good because it cannot turn into energy quick enough.

“So now I just have a bowl of rice pudding or something like that.”
Walker also told fans that Harry Maguire‘s go-to meal is lasagne and the Manchester United star accompanies it with plenty of side salad that he “drowns in vinegar”.
