FORGOTTEN Manchester United star Altay Bayindir is Galatasaray’s top target for a new goalkeeper this summer.
According to Sport Witness, Bayindir is keen on joining the Turkish club as it will offer him more chances to play.
Bayindir, 25, joined the Red Devils in a £4.3million transfer from Fenerbahce on transfer deadline day and had played only once against Newport County in the FA Cup last month.
If all goes to plan for Galatasaray, the Turkish international will be going to his previous team’s biggest rivals.
The Turkish outfit are currently topping the SuperLig table, just two points ahead of Fenerbahce.
Bayindir looked likely to get a chance between the posts during ACON.
But United No1 Andre Onana opted to arrive late to the tournament in order to play against Tottenham in the Premier League.
Bayindir’s potential move away from United evoked some supportive reactions from fans on X.
One said: “Good opportunity for him.”
Other’s did not think the decision came as a shock, given the lack of time Bayindir has had on the pitch.
