Mina, 29, whipped out the dance moves after converting a brilliant top corner penalty in the shootout.

It’s a celebration well known to the footballing world as the defender is guilty of doing it more than once.

So much so, that his infamous steps fractured his relationship with superstar Messi.

In fact, one fan wrote: “Don’t let Lionel Messi see this”.

While another said: “Limbs everywhere. What a strike!”

The former Everton defender, who spent one season at the Camp Nou, was the victim of several digs from the Ballon d’Or winner as Argentina overcame Colombia on penalties two years ago.

The major incident occurred when Mina had his penalty saved by Emiliano Martinez, who went on to keep two more out.

Shortly after the defender’s miss from the spot, Messi was overheard shouting: “Why don’t you dance now? Dance now.”

The suggestion is that he was reacting to Mina’s celebration after he scored in Colombia’s shootout win over Uruguay in the previous round.

He was then spotted mockingly clapping Mina in a rare outburst for a player so often praised for his attitude.

Messi was one of Argentina’s successful spot-kick takers helping to secure a 3-2 win after the game had finished 1-1 after extra time.

Argentina went onto beat Neymar’s Brazil 1-0 in the Copa America final which saw Messi lift his first international title.

Meanwhile, Everton fans were gutted that their side did not have Mina for their recent 6-7 penalty shootout loss to Fulham in the Carabao Cup.

The centre-back left for free in the summer after an injury-ridden five years with the club.
