Kim Gi-dong’s side ran out 3-1 winners, with new-boy Lingard completing 40 minutes.

Forward Park Dong-jin grabbed two goals for FC Seoul, with South Korean international Kang Seong-jin scoring the other.

Lingard, 31, recently joined FC Seoul after 250 days without a club.

His last competitive outing came on April 16 for Nottingham Forest last year.

FC Seoul are gearing up for the new K-League season, which begins next month.

Lingard could make his competitive debut when FC Seoul open their season with a trip to Gwangju on March 2.

Upon joining FC Seoul, the former Manchester United star said: “I’ll focus on football, my personal business is nothing to do with football.

“The most important thing to me is football.”

On what attracted him to the project, he added: “I’m really excited, it’s a new challenge but I’ve accepted it.

“I’m here, I’m ready to embrace the culture. It’s a new beginning for me, a new chapter in my career.

“I just want to enjoy playing football again and putting a smile on people’s faces and showing the Korea fans what I can do.

“When FC Seoul came into the equation, the commitment that they showed, they flew to Manchester to watch me train, I got put through some tests by the physios.

“They came with the contract on paper. There were multiple offers but they were all verbal.

“The commitment shown by Seoul showed their interest and how much they wanted me and I wanted to repay that by going to the club.”

Lingard has already shared a series of snaps as he settles into his new life in the South Korean capital.

He also posted a snap of himself wearing his new club tracksuit as he visited a sweet shop.
