Bryan took a heavy right hook to his chin in the seventh round which saw him collapse on the the ropes and down to the floor.

The referee immediately waved the fight off as he hit the deck from the brutal knock out.

And after what was an exciting moment in the bout it suddenly turned serious after the American fighter remained on the floor for an extended period of time.

The heavyweight was eventually treated inside the ring before being taken away in a stretcher with the need for a neck brace.

It’s the second consecutive knock out that Bryan has faced after previously being undefeated for over ten years.

His last fight saw him knocked out by Daniel Dubois in the fourth round of the Miami bout.

The loss saw Bryan lose his WBA (regular) heavyweight title and his long-standing unbeaten record.

There is yet to be an update on the condition of the former champ after Chaney’s big hit.

But reports have suggested he could be heard by commentators complaining about not being able to feel his legs.

It was a successful night for his opponent Chaney who himself was returning to the ring after a long period away.
