DARTS star Andy Jenkins has been slapped with an ELEVEN-YEAR ban and fined more than £17,000 for match-fixing.
A Darts Regulation Authority (DRA) disciplinary committee found Jenkins, 54, guilty of fixing 12 Modus Super Series matches he was involved in between February 2022 and July 2023.

Jenkins had denied match-fixing but admitted placing 88 bets on matches between March 2022 and May 2023.
The DRA added an extra 12 months to his suspension as a result of his admission and for also passing information on to bettors.
He has also been ordered to pay costs of £17,580 and has until May 6 2025 to appeal the decision.
The decade long ban will prevent him from playing in or being involved in any DRA event until 15 November 2034.
It has been backdated to November 2023, when he and fellow darts players Jack Main and Prakash Jiwa were initially suspended.
John Pierce, director of enforcement at the Gambling Commission, which worked with the DRA on the case, said: “This case sends a strong and unequivocal message to all sportspeople – if you fix matches, you are likely to be caught and face serious consequences.
“Betting customers in Britain deserve confidence that the markets they engage with are fair and free from corruption.
“Our sports betting intelligence unit will continue to work closely with partners such as the DRA to identify and prevent match-fixing.”
Main was hit with a two-year ban for fixing matches during the same period.
Meanwhile, Jiwa was handed with an eight-year ban for match-fixing last month.
Jenkins is best known for his surge to the semi-finals of the PDC World Championship back in 2007.
The 15-time title winner was edged out by the ultimate champion Raymond van Barneveld.
