The pair teamed up to land the Champion Stakes at Ascot last Saturday in an all-time thriller.

Dettori fought back tears in the aftermath as the crowd broke out in song for what may have been his final race at the track.

But now the dust has settled, trainer Roger Varian has deemed the horse fit enough to make the journey to the States.

Dettori brought the house down with his astonishing last-to-first ride on the Derby runner up.

A rematch with his Epsom rival Auguste Rodin will now have punters glued to their TVs on both sides of the Atlantic.

Bookies make Aidan O’Brien’s star three-year-old a general 3-1 chance, along with co-fav and Juddmonte hero Mostahdaf.

King Of Steel was a 7s shot with plans still up in the air.

His price could contract now it’s been confirmed he will travel.
