Fuming Gerard Pique demands ‘nobody’ fans ‘SHUT UP’ after Shakira chant trolling as Spain icon asks DJ to play Waka Waka

GERARD PIQUE produced a spiky response after he faced awkward chants for his ex Shakira at a Madrid nightclub.

The 36-year-old Barcelona legend, who has moved his new lover Clara Chia into the couple’s old mansion, split from the pop sensation last year.

The Colombian music star and Pique revealed their bombshell split last June amid rumours of the Spanish World Cup winner’s alleged infidelity.

Soon after their breakup, it was revealed that Pique was dating 24-year-old Clara Chia Marti.

Pique faced a lot of backlash following his split from Shakira as he was accused of cheating on her which reportedly left him speechless.

And that continued earlier this week as the ex-Manchester United ace took the stage at the Fitz club in Madrid to mark the Kings League Tournament that was founded by him last year. 

While he was on the microphone, the revellers in attendance began chanting Shakira’s name.

And that led to Pique reportedly biting back by saying: “What’s wrong? I am the world champion and you are nobody.”

Former Real Madrid goalkeeper Iker Casillas, who was also part of Spain’s 2010 World Cup-winning squad, then appeared on the scene.

However, he seemed to make things even worse as he asked the DJ to play the official anthem of that World Cup 13 years ‘Waka Waka’ – which of course was sang by Shakira.

She actually met Pique, who emotionally retired from playing in November, after he featured in the video for that hit song and they soon embarked on a 12-year relationship and have two children together, Milan, 9, and Sasha, 7.

The pair split in June, with the Colombian singer confirming a separation by releasing a statement.

It was alleged by the Spanish media that Pique cheated on Shakira, although that has never been confirmed.

But months after they went their separate ways, Pique went public with his new relationship with student Clara – and was soon spotted kissing her at the Summerfest Cerdanya festival in Catalonia.

Meanwhile, Shakira has allegedly enjoyed three secret meetings with Lewis Hamilton at her Ibiza villa, an insider claimed.

The star and F1 ace have sparked dating rumours after being spotted getting cosy at a string of events in recent months.

Paparazzo Sergio Garrido told Spanish TV channel Telecinco that the pair met “three times in the Ibiza villa” where Shakira was staying earlier this month during a break in the F1 season.

“When the workers left, the singer stayed alone with her private escort and received a visit from Hamilton,” he said.

Garrido also claimed that Hamilton’s driver overheard the pilot’s “constant conversations” with the Latina singer.

The paparazzo explained how Shakira and Lewis have coincided in space and time on the island of Pitiusa.
